Country star Jake Owen was forced to cut short his performance at the CMA Music Festival on Sunday (09Jun13) due to extreme weather conditions.

The Heaven hitmaker took to the stage at the LP Field Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee for the 42nd annual four-day concert series, but festival bosses warned him to only play one song as a storm was developing.

Country star Jake Owen was forced to use his shirt to cover-up at a gig on Friday (17May13) after he almost exposed himself when his pants ripped at the seams.

The singer was climbing around onstage during his concert in Charleston, South Carolina when his jeans split, sending Owen into a panic - because he wasn't wearing underwear.

The quick-thinking hunk stripped off his white top and tied it around his waist so he wouldn't give audience members an X-rated show and he later took to Twitter.com to joke about the incident.

Newlywed country star Jake Owen is to become a father - his wife is pregnant with their first child.

The singer wed Lacey Buchanan in Florida in May, a month after becoming engaged, and now the couple is due to have a baby girl in November.

Owen admits the pregnancy came as a welcome surprise shortly after he asked Buchanan's father for her hand in marriage.

He tells People.com, "We actually found out Lacey was pregnant after I had asked her dad for his permission.

Merely one month after getting engaged, country music star Jake Owen married his girlfriend Lacey Buchanan in Florida.

The pair got engaged on Easter (April 8) after Owen proposed onstage during a concert in his native Vero Beach, Fla. This morning the singer revealed he and Buchanan tied the knot in a dawn ceremony on the sand at Vero Beach.

He posted a photo on twitter and wrote, "A best friend for life. I now have a wifey :) my face hurts from smiling. What a wonderful way to start the rest of my life."
