Cherry Jones will appear in Brooklyn's Surrogate Court on April 1 to challenge the role of ODB's widow Icelene Jones as administrator of the rapper's estate, because she believes her son's funds are being misappropriated.

Hip-hop supergroup Wu-Tang Clan struggled to write their new album 8 Diagrams - because it was their first since the sudden death of founding member Ol' Dirty Bastard. The surviving eight bandmates wrote a tribute to the late rapper - real name Russell Tyrone Jones - who died of an accidental overdose whilst recording at the group's New York studio in 2004.

Rap mogul Damon Dash is planning to mark the second anniversary of tragic Ol' Dirty Bastard's death on November 7 by releasing the Wu-Tang Clan star's long-awaited final album. Dash will release “A Son Unique” through his Roc-a-Fella Records imprint after making a big splash back in 2003 by signing ODB, real name Russell Jones, following his release from jail.
