'The Office' Series Finale: Top 5 Replayed Moments

5/17/2013 6:03pm EDT
'The Office' Series Finale
NBC said goodbye to the long-running series The Office last night. It was a fond farewell for many and was a fitting closure for the characters.

The final episode included some great moments. But as it turns out, the return of Michael Scott was not the most rewound and replayed moment during the show. TiVo data tell a different story.

Here are the top five TiVo-ed moments from the program:

1. 9:00 pm - The very beginning of the episode shows Dwight driving in his car where he derides PBS: "The propaganda wing of Bill and Melinda Gates and (looking right at the camera) viewers like you."

The Office To End After Upcoming Ninth Season

8/21/2012 10:12pm EDT
The Office
The upcoming ninth season of hit comedy The Office will be its last.

The Emmy Award-winning series, based on comedian Ricky Gervais' hit British incarnation of the same name, premiered in 2005, essentially launching the careers of several little-known actors, including Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Mindy Kaling and Jenna Fischer.

The program has gained a large following ever since, thanks to lead characters Ed Helms and Steve Carell, who quit the series last year, but on Tuesday, executive producer Greg Daniels shocked fans by announcing they are calling it quits.

He tells The Hollywood ...

Spader made his full-time debut on the show last September.

Producers tell trade paper Variety it was always the actor's intention to stay for just one season.

'The Office' Recap: The List

9/25/2011 11:17pm EDT
James Spader
After a summer off and the news that James Spader would join the cast of ‘The Office,’ there wasn’t a whole lotta suspense about what would happen. But kudos to the writers for not being completely predictable.

Yes, Spader’s Robert California is the new boss, but he’s not the new Office boss. Exactly. After being hired to replace Jo, he took one look at the lame antics and walked out. He somehow convinced Jo to give him her job as CEO. (Perhaps that has to do with Kathy Bates being busy with ‘Harry’s Law.’ Just sayin’.)

So, while California is a looming presence by occupying the con...

'The Office' Recap: Double Date

11/8/2009 8:52am EST
The Office
Dwight decides to bring in authentic New York bagels. If you're thinking this is an unusually nice thing for Dwight to do then you'd be right. He's trying to get everyone in The Office to "owe him one" so that he can cash in the favor later in order to get Jim fired. But Dwight wants to know why everyone thinks he might be up to something. As he says to camera, "Can't a guy buy some bagels for his co-workers so they'll owe him, so he can cash in on it later and get someone fired who stole the co-manager position he didn't deserve anymore? Geez, when did everyone get so cynical?"

'The Office' Recap: Koi Pond

The Office
Michael has decided to turn the warehouse into a "scare house." Jim points out that the scariest thing that's happened on site was that there used to be a productive paper company located where a "scare house" now resides. Darryl pushes children through the "scare house" on a paper pallet forklift.

After a tedious and sad haunted house experience Darryl rewards the children with a promise of candy but is interrupted by Michael who is faking suicide. Michael kicks a chair out from under him and pretends to be choking to death while hanging from a noose wrapped around his neck. The childre...

'The Office' Recap: The Lover

10/24/2009 8:56am EDT
The Office
Pam and Jim are back on The Office! Their honeymoon was great. They tell camera there was another couple there on their honeymoon named Frank and Bennie and they call them "Frank and Beans." Of course they say "Frank and Beans" in a really weird voice which makes them laugh. They are also greeted by "Blindman McSqueezy," a character Michael has created in his improv class. The women in his class really hate McSqueezy considering his only gag is grabbing their breasts. Michael, wearing very dark sunglasses, is lead to Pam and Jim by Dwight. Michael feels Jim's chest and says, "Pam you're bac...

'The Office Recap: 'Mafia'

10/16/2009 9:02am EDT
The Office
This week on "The Office" Pam and Jim are on their honeymoon and without Jim's level headedness the office is coming unglued. Michael starts the day off with a presentation about becoming an effective salesperson. Michael has written the word "fundamentals" on a dry/erase board. He has underlined the part of the word that spells mental. He says that the fundamentals of selling are fun so you'd have to be mental to not know this. Toby, of course, points out that the word fun is also in the word "fundamental." He is booed by the crowd and just as Michael is about to tell him to leave he does ...

'The Office' Recap: The Wedding

10/10/2009 8:09am EDT
The Office
It’s finally here. It’s finally time. It’s Michael’s big day. Well sort of, it’s Pam and Jim’s weekend wedding in Niagara Falls on The Office. The entire office is getting extra time off to attend the wedding. But first Pam and Jim ask for a special favor from the office staff. Since she’s pregnant and her stomach is really sensitive, Pam would really appreciate it if everyone would wear less perfume and if anyone is eating a particularly pungent lunch if that person would do so in the break-room. Phyllis won’t give up her perfumed soap. Dwight refuses to eat his hard-boiled egg anywhere ot...

Michael tells Dwight he's only in charge of big picture things now and that Jim is now in charge of the day-to-day details items like expense reports. Dwight barges into Jim's office and demands he sign the expense report. Jim tells him he won't sign it until Dwight says, "Please."

Dwight storms back into Michael's office to file a complaint against Jim. Michael says he only handles big things. So Dwight says he wants to make a huge giganti...

The Office
On the Sept. 24 episode of "The Office," Michael calls Oscar (who is gay) into his office to ask how he should prepare for a colonoscopy. He asks if how he should prepare emotionally for the procedure and if there is anything he can do to make it more pleasurable for himself and his doctor and if he should have a safe word. Oscar just gets up and walks out of the office. And we don't blame him.

David Wallace arrives at the Scranton location from the corporate office in New York and asks to talk to Jim in private. They go into the conference room for a secret meeting. Michael pretends he ...

Creed - The Office
You have to love any story that contains the line, "Cut to a night of drinking ouzo. The next morning I wake up and it looked like a bomb went off in the place and my tongue is bigger than my head." Now, is it that surprising this was spoken by Creed from "The Office"? Well, not Creed on "The Office," but the real life Creed Bratton who plays Creed on "The Office."

Kevin yells at Andy that the phone is for him. Jim reminds Kevin that they went over how to transfer a call. Kevin sa...

Michael agrees saying his night should have, "all the drama, excitement and intrigue of my time here." Dwight is frustrated that Michael is only agreeing with Jim because he is wearing a tuxedo. She's been stalling him and telling him Michael is not in the office every time he comes in for a meeting. Oscar judges him with a harsh look. Kevin says, "What? I didn't eat my lunch. Well, I didn't eat all my lunch." Then Angela comes in smiling, yes, smiling and happy. The kind of happy reserved for people who enjoy intercourse. Instead we find out that she has sold the engagement ring Andy gave her and with the proceeds she bought a $7,000.00 cat. Oh yes you heard that right, a cat. As Angela puts it, "She's hypoallerg...

He locks everyone into the office, puts a flame torch to all of the other exit doors and then lights a garbage can full of trash on fire in a hallway.

Sadly no one notices until Dwight gets Pam's attention on him and she happens to see the smoke bill...
