Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, often abbreviated OFWGKTA and also known simply as Odd Future, is an alternative hip hop collective from Los Angeles, California. The group is led by rapper/producer Tyler, The Creator, and includes rappers Hodgy Beats, Earl Sweatshirt, Domo Genesis and Mike G, singer Frank Ocean, producers Left Brain, Syd tha Kyd and Matt Martians, and other non-musical members (non-rappers who have features on group's mixtapes and Tyler, The Creator's albums), notably Jasper Dolphin and Taco Bennett. Though they are often labeled as horrorcore, the group has universally dismissed it.

There are multiple groups inside the collective: MellowHype (Hodgy Beats and Left Brain), The Jet Age of Tomorrow (Matt Martians and Hal Williams), EarlWolf (Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator) and The Internet (Syd tha Kyd and Matt Martians).

Odd Future formed in 2007 in Los Angeles. They have produced multiple releases, the first of which were available for free on their website. Since the release of his debut album, member Earl Sweatshirt has been absent from the group. It is rumored that his mother sent him to an all boys boarding school for kids with drug issues and depression in Samoa.

MellowHype recently re-released their album “BlackenedWhite” through Fat Possum records. In April 2011, the group signed a deal with Sony's RED to start their own label, Odd Future Records. Tyler, The Creator also signed a one album deal with XL Recordings and released his sophomore effort, “Goblin,” in May 2011.

Much of their music is recorded in a room in Syd the Kyd's and Taco's house, known as the Trap, in South Los Angeles. In October 2011, an album of twelve old Odd Future songs from artists within the group including Domo Genesis, Hodgy Beats, Mike G, The Jet Age of Tomorrow, MellowHype, The Internet and Tyler, The Creator was released. The album was named “12 Odd Future Songs,” despite there being 13 songs including a brand new song from The Internet.

“The Odd Future Tape Vol. 2,”the sequel to OFWGKTA's 2008 debut free mixtape, “The Odd Future Tape,” was released in 2012 via Odd Future Records. Tyler, the Creator, Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis, Mike G, singer Frank Ocean, producer Left Brain, and The Internet appeared on the album.
