Jason Castro's Debut: File Under 'Worst Album Covers Of All Time'
Atlantic recording artist Jason Castro has unveiled details of his much-anticipated debut LP. "Jason Castro" arrives in stores and at all online retailers on April 13th.
The self-titled album will be preceded by the new single, "That's What I'm Here For." The track hit Hot AC radio outlets nationwide on March 8th. Parachute To Release 'Losing Sleep' May 19
Parachute's debut album on Mercury/Island Def Jam Music takes off from the individual members' shared histories, from "She Is Love", the ballad torch song and first single, with its Van Morrison-like scatting by lead singer Will Anderson, to Nate McFarland's chiming, The Edge-styled chunks of guitar laced through "Back Again", "Under Control", "Ghost", "Words Meet Heartbeats", and "All That I Am".

O.A.R. Announce 'Spring Fling' And New Live CD/DVD
O.A.R. has announced details of their upcoming spring tour. The schedule begins March 1 at the Landmark theater in Syracuse, New York, with dates continuing through early May. The trek also includes a March 11 performance at the annual Langerado Music Festival in Sunrise, Florida.

Non-partisan, non-profit voter registration organization HeadCount.org has enlisted the help of its artist partners to generate over one million e-mails to music fans reminding them to vote.
Dave Matthews Band kicked off the campaign on Tuesday, one week before the election, with an e-mail sent directly to the hundreds of thousands of fans on the band's private e-mail list.

Former Blink-182 star Tom Delonge's new band Angels & Airwaves was the toast of the annual Woodie Awards in New York Wednesday night after claiming the event's top prize. Dave Matthews Band Summer 2006 Tour Dates
Dave Matthews Band announced today the dates for their 2006 summer tour. Thus far 49 concert appearances have been confirmed in 37 cities across the country. More dates will be added in the coming weeks. As it stands now, the tour begins on May 30th in Maryland Heights, Missouri at the UMB Bank Pavilion with dates confirmed through September 23rd when the band finishes up in their hometown of Charlottesville, VA at the John Paul Jones Arena.
