Newlywed country star Joe Nichols was forced to scrap a show in Texas on Saturday night after revealing he had checked into rehab in a posting on his website. In a move that conjures up memories of fellow country music hunk Keith Urban's substance abuse admission, Nichols told fans he "has struggled with the issue of substance abuse".

Country star Joe Nichols will perform at Anna Nicole Smith's funeral later this morning in the Bahamas. Nichols will perform his song "I'll Wait For You" and Smith's favorite tune "Wings Of A Dove" at the grave side after being invited to sing by the tragic model's longtime companion Howard K. Stern.
