Rocker Dave Navarro is heading from the stage to the small screen after landing a role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

The Jane's Addiction guitarist will make a guest appearance in the hit crime drama playing a sound engineer named Ferrari.

According to TVGuide.com, Navarro's character witnesses a crime but refuses to talk to authorities in the upcoming episode, entitled Funny Valentine.

Man Who Killed Dave Navarro's Mother No Longer On Death Row

The man who was convicted of shooting and killing Dave Navarro's mother, Connie Hopkins Navarro, and her best friend Susan Marshall Jory in 1983 has escaped death row.

John Riccardi was sentenced to be executed in 1994, but officials at the California Supreme Court reversed his death sentence.

According to the judgment, Riccardi, now 76, was denied a fair trial when the judge presiding over the case excused a "prospective juror during jury selection."

Rockers Jane's Addiction are premiering the explicit video for their new song "Underground" on adult website Playboy.com.

The less racy promo made its debut on Vevo.com on Wednesday, but the more controversial version will hit the Internet on Friday night.

The band joined forces with director Robert Hales to make the short film, which was shot in Los Angeles at the Fais Do-Do club and features Perry Farrell and his group performing for a cast of vaudevillian characters.

Jane's Addiction rocker Dave Navarro is to host a new reality TV tattoo contest.

The guitarist will front Inkmaster for Spike TV.

The competition series will feature America's top tattoo artists competing in challenges to win $100,000 and a feature in genre magazine Inked, according to TVGuide.com

It won't be Navarro's first TV hosting job - the rocker also fronted music talent shows Rock Star INXS and Rock Star Supernova.

The heavily-tattooed guitarist will also serve as a judge on the new show.

Rockers Jane's Addiction are to be inducted into Hollywood's Rock Walk.

The band, Stephen Perkins, Dave Navarro and Perry Farrell, will place their hands into the cement outside Los Angeles' fabled Guitar Center at noon on June 1st.

Rage Against the Machine star Tom Morello will induct the band at the ceremony.

Jane's Addiction's handprints will reside alongside the handprints, signatures, and faces of other accomplished musicians and innovators including Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Elvis Presley.

Tila Tequila (shown above in front of her blue Laborghini) is making a guest appearance on the CBS show "$#*! My Dad Says." The 29-year-old reality star will play Ting Ting, the wife of a wealthy man.

The episode, titled "Ed Goes To Court," will air on Thursday.

Tila gained fame via MySpace and her MTV series "A Shot At Love." She was also engaged to Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, who died of natural causes at age 30.

Despite recent gossip, Tila is not dating rocker Dave Navarro, according to her rep.

Rocker Dave Navarro has stripped naked for a new People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) anti-fur campaign. The Jane's Addiction guitarist agreed to shed his clothes for the shoot, which boasts the tagline: "Ink, not mink. Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs."

And the tattoo-covered star, who covers his manhood with his hands in the ad, has urged his fans to stay away from animal products.
