New York, NY (July 2007) – Talib Kweli, the Brooklyn wordsmith, returns with his eagerly awaited sixth album Eardrum, in stores on August 21 on Kweli's own label, Blacksmith Music and Warner Bros. New Def Jam recording artist Chrisette Michele, whose soulful, jazz-influenced debut album I Am will be released June 19th, has been tapped as opening act on the upcoming North American tour with platinum Grammy nominated Atlantic Records recording artist Musiq (Soulchild). R&B star Musiq (Soulchild) leads a charge of new entries on the new US album chart, claiming the top spot after selling 149,000 copies of his new release Luvanmusiq.

MTV2 will present a special edition of its $2Bill Concert Series featuring My Chemical Romance. The concert will take place Wednesday, September 6th at The Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia with doors opening at 7 PM.
