Boasting a concrete modern rock sound influenced by such bands as Korn, Pantera and Killswitch Engage, as well as a new album, "The Test", produced by Erik Nelson at Eclipse Studios (Mudvayne, V Shaped Mind), the Danville, Illinois group Super Killer Fire are creating a buzz all their own, and seem to be gaining fans by the day.

Sure, they might refer to their hometown as a 'hole,' but it is where they got together as a band.

Originally released on September 1, 1989, Dr. Feelgood, along with all of Mötley Crüe’s studio albums, has just been re-released by Motley Records/Eleven Seven Music. The CD was recorded by all four original band members and is the band's highest charting CD to date. It was the first album the band recorded after their quest for sobriety and rehabilitation in 1989 and the band has stated in various interviews that they view it as their most musically solid album due in no small part to their new sobriety. Lava/Atlantic recording group Simple Plan has slated a variety of events celebrating the forthcoming release of their hugely anticipated new album, "Simple Plan."

Otep Announces U.S. Tour Dates To Coincide With Release Of New Album

Otep have just started their U.S. tour dates in support of the just released third album The Ascension. The band enlisted producer Dave Fortman (Mudvayne, Evanescence) for the record and also called on Grammy nominated guitarist Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne, Hellyeah) to co-write three songs.

Otep are currently working on the videos for two songs from the album, "Confrontation" and "Breed," to be directed by P.R. Brown (Smashing Pumpkins, James Blunt).

Check out Korn's latest video, "Coming Undone," from their platinum selling "See You On The Other Side" album.

The rockers, who recently had a street named after them in their hometown (backwards "R" and all), set off on a world tour in late February, with supporting acts Mudvayne and 10 Years in tow. They'll wrap up the North American leg in Toronto on April 4 before heading off to Tokyo; they're scheduled to play their final gig of the tour in Germany on July 2.
