Celebrities That Turn 40 In 2013
What were you doing 40 years ago in 1973? Our guess is that many of you reading weren't even born yet? Taking a look back at history, here were a few things going on in the world that year.

'Dexter' Recap: 'Just Let Go' (6.06)
This week's Dexter sees our hero make an important decision about his direction in life...while those around him continue to have no idea where they're headed.
Dex gets the news from Deb that Brother Sam has been shot, which forces him to abandon his stalking of Travis and makes him seriously angry. He quickly zeroes in on Leo Hernandez, a gang member who replaced the man Dex killed. He doesn't get a chance to exact justice, though, as Leo is shot and killed in a standoff with the cops.
All should be well, but Dexter finds himself not so convinced of Leo's guilt after all. The r...

'Dexter' Recap: 'A Horse of a Different Color' (6.04)
If last week's Dexter was more of a standalone episode, this week's throws us right back into the season-long arc, inducing squirms and gasps in equal measure.
Dexter's decided to go to the baptism Brother Sam invited him to after all, even though the idea of religious faith goes right over his head. It's too bad that they don't have time to have a discussion, because it might've come in handy when Dex is called out to deal with the "wicked rodeo" we saw at the end of last week's episode. 'Dexter' Recap: 'Once Upon A Time' (6.02)
He might be a serial killer, but this week's Dexter left me wanting to hug Dexter Morgan - after all, he's just realized that he may be his son's worst enemy.
Harrison's getting older now, and Dexter is disturbed to find out that his son has picked up on some of his father's habits, making repeated references to "daddy's box" of blood slides. Having previously stated that he doesn't want to pass his Dark Passenger on to the tot, Dex makes a painful decision at episode's end: that he can no longer show his son his real nature, only the one that everyone else believes to be true.

Previewing 'Dexter' Season 6 With Jennifer Carpenter
Dexter Morgan has sliced his way into a bloody niche on TV. As it begins its sixth season tonight, Showtime's Dexter can boast both critical acclaim and an audience that's enraptured by the life of Miami's most loved serial killer. Dexter's biggest supporter - and also the largest threat to his lethal secret - is his sister, homicide detective Debra Morgan.
The show might be called Dexter, but Deb has been my favorite character on the series. She might have a smart mouth, but beyond that, she has an earnestness to bust the bad guys that I find admirable. She also displays a remarka...

Mos Def To Change His Name To Yasiin In 2012
Mos Def is retiring his famous name at the end of 2011.
The rapper/actor will start 2012 under the moniker Yasiin.
He tells MTV2's Sucker Free show, "Mos Def is a name that I built and cultivated over the years; it's a name that the streets taught me, a figure of speech that was given to me by the culture and by my environment, and I feel I've done quite a bit with that name and it's time to expand and move on."
"Also, I didn't want to have to deal with having any moniker or separation between the self that I see and know myself as."

Dexter Gets His Wings (Photo)
Producers promised Dexter would explore faith this season and in this first-look photo, it looks like he's earned his wings — in blood, at least.

Milla Jovovich Doesn't Look So Beautiful At 'Biutiful' Premiere
Milla Jovovich attended the Los Angeles premiere of "Biutiful" wearing an African-print dress. Despite being low cut, the very baggy dress does nothing for her figure. What do you think?

Best Space Movies
The subject of space is a difficult one in terms of selecting films. Qualifying elements are somewhat subjective. Does the film have to take place in space? Must it include aliens? Does a mere reference to space, or different planets, make it a "space" film? In short, is it merely a subgenre of science fiction? Space and science fiction, while not mutually exclusive, can occur without the other.

'House' Recap: 'Locked In'
One of the ways that "House" becomes more than just your average procedural is how, occasionally, the writers and directors like to be more surreal and artistic. Occasionally it does not work, but on the most part these episodes are a wide success and praised. The car crash last season with Amber's death is an example, or the second season with House being shot. This week's episode "Locked In" is about perspective and how people make their own prisons, and it guest stars Mos Def as the patient of the week. It is also somewhat based off the excellent movie The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.

NEW YORK (AP) - Even though he's considered one of rap's all-time greats, when Slick Rick is asked about his most significant accomplishment, he doesn't mention having a platinum-selling record, classic hits like "Children's Story" or even his most recent accolade - getting saluted as a pioneer at the "VH1 Hip-Hop Honors."

Why Are So Many Rappers Acting?
This isn't to bash rappers, nor is it to say that these artists aren't allowed to pursue different paths in Hollywood. With so many prominent rappers acquiring roles in big movies though, it begs the question-why?
It's not as if rappers in movies are a new thing. In 1991, Mario Van Peebles cast Ice-T as a cop in "New Jack City," a film that is beloved by many. That same year, director John Singleton cast Ice Cube as a Los Angeles gangbanger in "Boyz N the Hood." These two movies helped open the floodgates for rappers to enter the world of acting.

How Will We Categorize Our Current Decade of Music?
We all know that the 70s was the decade of classic/arena rock, the 80s was the decade of hair metal/synth pop and the 90s was the decade of grunge/alternative rock. This brings up a question that a lot of music lovers must wonder: how will we categorize our current decade of music?
It's funny how music tends to change every generation. The 70s was the era of classic rock where groups such as Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and Lynyrd Skynyrd took over the entire music scene. Next up was the 80s, where both hair metal rockers such as Guns 'N Roses, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi reigned, along with ...
