Morrissey has cancelled the rest of his United States tour due to a respiratory infection, but a he said/she said argument has broken out after his reps blamed his opening act for infecting him.

Former The Smiths frontman Morrissey has attempted to end his long-running feud with legendary rocker David Bowie almost 20 years after they first fell out.

The 54 year-old singer was enlisted as the main support act on Bowie's 1995 European tour,however he quit after a few of shows and later blamed Bowie for trying to overshadow his performances.

Since then he has made several cutting remarks about his former hero in interviews, and Bowie fueled the bust-up by reportedly refusing to allow permission for Morrissey to use a photograph of them together on a release last year.

Police have cordoned off the VIP area at Britain's Glastonbury festival after a man was found dead backstage.

The body of a man, allegedly named as Conservative political aide Christopher Shale, was found in a portable toilet in the area behind the event's main Pyramid Stage early on Sunday morning.

Shale is believed to be a close friend of U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron.

A police cordon has been erected around the backstage area as officers attempt to discover what happened, while a camping area where festival production teams and performers stay has also been blocked off.
