MorphineCure for Pain [Single] Release Date: 1994 01 18 Label: Rykodisc Rating: ![]() |
This single was released by Ryko in 1993 for the best Morphine song, "Cure for Pain," from the album of the same title. This disc is a must-own for fans of the band because of the three non-album tracks here. They are the trippy, dissonant "Down Love's Tributaries," a stepchild to Cure for Pain's "Mary Won't You Call My Name?" called "Shame," and the rhythmic, experimental "My Brain." Overall, a weird but intriguing collection of B-sides. JT Griffith, All Music Guide
