Singer Monica Pregnant With Third Child

R&B star Monica revealed on Mother's Day that she's pregnant. The singer and her basketball star husband Shannon Brown are expecting their first child together later this year.

The 32 year old announced the news on Twitter. She posted a photo of her burgeoning baby bump with the caption: "5months & counting #excited."
 
Monica has two children from a previous relationship with rapper Rocko - sons Rodney, 7, and Romelo, 5.

R&B singer Monica has wed her husband Shannon Brown for a second time, following their secret marriage last year.

"The Boy Is Mine" hitmaker exchanged vows with the Los Angeles Lakers player in a private ceremony at her home in November, but the pair enjoyed a second celebration on Saturday to share their wedding joy with friends and family.

Hundred of guests, including MTV VJ La La Vasquez and her husband Carmelo Anthony, as well as Brown's teammates Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher, attended the ceremony at a cathedral in Los Angeles.

Veteran singer Reba McEntire and R&B star Monica have joined the all-star cast of hit new TV talent contest "The Voice."

The stars will pair up with the show's coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton to help contestants hit the high notes.

Australian singer/songwriter Sia Furler, who wrote three songs for Aguilera's most recent album Bionic, and music producer Adam Blackstone have also signed on as advisers on the programme.

The Boy Is Mine hitmaker began dating the Los Angeles Lakers player last summer after he portrayed her love interest in her music video for Love All Over Me.

Rumors of an engagement were rife in October when Monica showed off a sparking diamond ring in a picture posted on her Twitter.com page. The singer has now confirmed the couple tied the knot a month later, sealing their whirlwind romance.

The "No One" singer gave birth to her first child, Egypt, on Friday, and now she's leading the way at the soul and R&B prizegiving, which is due to take place in Atlanta, Georgia on November 10.
