Beastie Boys Go Instrumental Again With "The Mix-Up," Due June 26

Mike "Mike D" Diamond, Adam "MCA" Yauch and Adam "Adrock" Horovitz have confirmed a June 26 release date for their seventh studio album, The Mix-Up, on Capitol Records.

The Mix-Up is Beastie Boys' first-ever full album of all-new instrumental material. The follow-up to 2004's To The 5 Boroughs, The Mix-Up features Diamond, Horovitz and Yauch back on drums, guitar and bass, with able assistance from Keyboard Money Mark and percussionist Alfredo Ortiz, on 12 brand new wordless, sample-less, scratchless originals. Filter Magazine and American Rag Cie Launch 'Ragged' Issue #2, Featuring Aqualung

Filter Magazine, the country's premiere independent music publication, and innovative clothing brand American Rag Cie have once again partnered to launch Issue #2 of Ragged. This thirty-two page special edition magazine features stories on indie rock and alternative music from major and up-and-coming artists. Artists featured in Ragged Issue #2 include Aqualung, Robbers On High Street, Midnight Movies, The Colour, Miho Hatori, Carina Round, and The Cinematics.
