Stars express shock over New Orleans parade shooting

Stars including Moby, Russell Simmons and Paula Abdul have expressed their shock over a shooting at a Mother's Day parade in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday (12May13).

Gunmen opened fire on dozens of people marching in the parade, injuring 19 people, including two children.

Police officials have revealed that three suspects were seen fleeing the scene after the shooting and that most of the injuries sustained by the victims are non life-threatening.

Stars immediately took to Twitter.com to share their dismay, with dance star Moby declaring, "Another terrible and horrifying gun tragedy....

Moby To Collaborate With NASA For Space-Themed Coachella Set

Electronic dance music superstar Moby will feature NASA video footage during his DJ set at the Coachella festival in California this weekend.

Moby's performance in the Sahara Tent on Saturday night will be his first at the event since he appeared at the very first Coachella in 1999.

He will premiere new material from his recent collaborations with producers Loops of Fury, Zodiac Cartel, Cold Blank and Darth & Vader, and he will be treating fans to a visual collaboration as well with NASA images from space.

Executives at Southwest Airlines have investigated Leisha Hailey's removal from a flight on Monday and concluded she was not kicked off for kissing her girlfriend, but for swearing at cabin staff.

The L Word star demanded an apology from bosses at Southwest Airlines after claiming she was asked to leave the plane for kissing her partner, Camila Grey, onboard, and a number of stars including Moby and Kelly Osbourne have subsequently called for a boycott of the company.

Dance music superstar Moby was electrocuted at a show in Amsterdam, Holland on Tuesday.

The "We Are Made of Stars" hitmaker was playing an acoustic show at a gallery when he was shocked.

In a post to fans on his website he writes, "Yes, I was mildly electrocuted during an acoustic show at the reflex gallery in Amsterdam, but I'm feeling a-ok now. Maybe I even had some accidental electro shock therapy. Thanks for your concern."

In a video of the incident posted online, Moby appears to collapse onstage.

It is not known how the shock occurred.

The Porcelain hit-maker collaborated with the Toxic hit-maker on a track for her 2003 album In The Zone, four years before she suffered a breakdown, which saw her shave her head, attack a car with an umbrella then enter a psychiatric ward.

Mike Myers has married his longtime girlfriend in a secret ceremony in New York City.

The funnyman exchanged vows with Kelly Tisdale five months ago at a "beautiful" wedding in the Big Apple, the actor's representative confirms to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

The Austin Powers star, 47, began dating Tisdale in 2006, shortly after he split from his first wife, writer/actress Robin Ruzan, following 12 years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in 2007.

Tisdale has previously dated dance music star Moby.

Dance music star Moby had a rude awakening on Monday morning when he found an intruder in his California home.

The man, named Robbie, was reportedly high on drugs and was standing in the hitmaker's lounge.

Moby asked the stranger to leave and when he didn't, the kind-hearted musician gave his intruder a sweatshirt and money for breakfast.

After watching him leave the property, the "Play" hitmaker took to his blog to tell fans about his encounter.

Organizers of the Electric Daisy Carnival in Los Angeles last weekend have been rocked by the news a 15-year-old concert goer has died of an event-related drug overdose.

More than 100 dance music fans were admitted to the hospital after fans scrambled to gain access to the Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park festival, which was headlined by Moby.

Moby's New York restaurant has been destroyed in a fire. An electrical fire ignited vegan eatery Teany and gutted the building on Rivington Street, in Manhattan's Lower East Side on Thursday night. The DJ opened the restaurant in 2002 with business partner and former girlfriend Kelly Tisdale.
