November 19th, 2011 12:00pm EST
Meg Ryan
Meg Ryan might not be the star she once was when she was breaking our hearts in classic romantic comedies like "When Harry Met Sally" and "Sleepless In Seattle," but there's no doubt she deserves her place in Hollywood history.

Nowadays, she's more famous for her private life and her romances than she is for film roles, but she has already amassed some iconic characters including orgasm-faking Sally Albright ("When Harry Met Sally"), Annie Reed ("Sleepless in Seattle"), Alice Green ("When a Man Loves a Woman") and Kathleen Kelly ("You've Got Mail").

Away from the big screen, she's a mom o...

Odd couple Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp spent the day together shopping in Los Angeles yesterday. At one point the pair put their arms around each other while looking at men's clothing.

Her pal Demi Lovato joined the Hannah Montana star in scandal when provocative photos which appeared to show her partly-exposing her breasts leaked on the internet,...

Battle Of The Campaign Songs: How Music Affects The Presidential Race

March 25th, 2008 11:23am EDT
John Mellencamp
Music is a universal hobby. It's one that everyone can - and likely does - share. Thus, music is a powerful way for politicians to speak to their voting public. And where words and speeches fail, a campaign song can intervene and convey the message.

John Mellencamp must have been very aware of these facts when he asked GOP frontrunner John McCain to remove his anthem "Our Country" from his political campaign (after McCain usurped the song from campaign drop-out...

The Best Songs About Girls From A To Z, Part 1

January 31st, 2008 2:46pm EST
Simon and Garfunkel
I recently started thinking about the best songs about girls with every letter of the alphabet, regardless of whether or not the subject of the song is the same as the title. This project became a bit of a labor of love since there were two important, sometimes conflicting, considerations: How good the song is versus how cool the chick sounds. Ultimately, I had to pick songs that struck the best balance between these two considerations.

A: Amie by Pure Prairie League. A nod to Angie by The Rolling Stones, but if he's dumping her she couldn't have been that great.

B: Bernadette b...
