Rocker Scott Weiland has rejoined Velvet Revolver four years after his bandmates kicked him out of the group following a public spat.

The singer left the band and reunited his former act Stone Temple Pilots for a tour, leaving his supergroup to find a replacement.

After a series of near hires, bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan put Velvet Revolver on hold to concentrate on solo endeavors, but now it appears Weiland is back onboard following a reunion at a benefit concert in January.

Axl Rose has stunned Rock & Roll Hall of Fame bosses by officially declining his induction as a member of Guns N' Roses.

The rocker has written to officials at the Ohio museum to announce he will not be attending Saturday's gala.

In a letter, obtained by the Los Angeles Times newspaper on Wednesday, Rose states, "I respectfully decline my induction as a member of Guns N' Roses to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I strongly request that I not be inducted in absentia and please know that no one is authorized nor may anyone be permitted to accept any induction for me or speak on my behalf.

Rocker Slash has dismissed rumors the original members of Guns N' Roses will reunite at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction next month.

Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler and Dizzy Reed are all believed to be attending the event in Cleveland, Ohio on April 14th, but the offer to reunite onstage was declined by the guitarist.

His comments are sure to spark disappointment from fans desperate to see the legendary rockers perform together again, but Slash has been caught unaware of the hype surrounding the induction.

Duff McKagan is to rejoin his former band Guns N' Roses on tour with his group Loaded.

The bassist, who quit the legendary rock group in 1997, will go back on the road with Guns N' Roses and open for them at two shows with Duff McKagan's Loaded, the band he formed following his departure.

Loaded will appear with Guns N' Roses at the band's concerts in Seattle, Washington on 16 December and in Vancouver, Canada on December 17th..

The news was confirmed in a post on the Loaded Twitter.com page, which reads, "Yes... we are. This Friday in Seattle at Key Arena and Saturday in Vancouver......

The group are favorites to be added to the Cleveland, Ohio museum in April and devotees hope the big occasion will bring Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and Izzy Stradlin back together.

Rocker Duff McKagan is confident his supergroup Velvet Revolver will have a new frontman by the end of 2011.

The band, which also features Slash and Matt Sorum, has been on hiatus since singer Scott Weiland was fired over three years ago, but bassist McKagan insists they're close to finding his permanent replacement.

Rocker Axl Rose has settled a legal battle with former Guns N' Roses manager Irving Azoff over breach of contract allegations.

Azoff sued the Guns N' Roses frontman in March, 2010, accusing the singer of reneging on an agreement to hand him a slice of profits from a big money concert tour.

Rose hit back with a countersuit, alleging Azoff attempted to sabotage his career after he refused to reunite with the band's original members, including Slash and Duff McKagan. He demanded more than $5 million in damages for breach of fiduciary duty, constructive fraud and breach of contract.

Former Guns N' Roses rocker Duff McKagan has replaced Eric Avery in the reunited Jane's Addiction.

Avery co-founded the band in the mid-1980s and rejoined frontman Perry Farrell for a 2008 reunion.

He announced his plans to quit via a Twitter.com post on Monday, stating, "With equal parts regret and relief, the Jane's Addiction experiment is at an end."

And the group already has his replacement planned - McKagan will join them in the studio for their comeback album.
