Country star Tim Mcgraw rushed to the aid of an ailing fan who fainted near the stage during his recent gig in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Live Like You Were Dying hitmaker was midway through his performance on 12 May, when he witnessed Paula Whitten pass out from exhaustion.

McGraw stopped the show and jumped down to help the young concertgoer, and Whitten admits she was shocked to see the Grammy winner towering over her when she came to.

This summer, Tim McGraw will show off his generous side by awarding mortgage-free homes to military veterans and their families.

The country singer is continuing with his work for the HomeFront foundation and will award one military veteran and their family a newly renovated, mortgage-free home at each of the 31 stops on his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour.

Last year, McGraw teamed up with Chase bank and the Operation Homefront charitable foundation to launch the program, which has already awarded more than 30 homes to deserving military families.

Country singer Tim McGraw has been hit with a copyright lawsuit from his former label, Curb Records.

The singer was caught up in a legal battle with the recording company in 2011 for allegedly backing out of his contract and failing to complete a fifth album for the company. McGraw won a legal battle against Curb last September in which the Court of Appeals upheld a 2011 decision allowing him to sign with Big Machine and release new music through his new label.

Tim McGraw's representative has slammed a new report by the National Enquirer that claims the country star has maintained a secret relationship with the son of an ex-fiancee without his wife Faith Hill knowing.

The tabloid claims McGraw helped raise Tyler Zarbo while he was engaged to the child's mom, Kristine Donahue, in the early 1990s. The couple split, and McGraw wed Hill in 1996, but  the article suggests the country star stayed in touch with Zarbo behind Hill's back.

Country singer Tim McGraw has been given the go ahead to release a collection of new material after winning a legal battle with his former record label bosses.

Country couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw will be spending Christmas and several more weeks in Las Vegas.

On Tuesday morning, the country stars announced a 10-week run of shows at The Venetian hotel and casino starting December 7.

The couple hasn't toured together since 2006. Faith and Tim married in 1996, and they have three daughters.

Country music star Tim McGraw is aiming to raise money for traumatized soldiers by taking part in a charitable celebrity shootout.

McGraw will take part in the sporting clay shoot at the Nashville Gun Club on June 5 in Tennessee, alongside fellow singers Luke Bryan, Craig Campbell, Josh Gracin and JT Hodges.

The event will benefit the Tug McGraw Foundation, which aims to improve the lives of military service members who have been affected by post-traumatic stress disorder.

McGraw's father, Tug, founded the charity in 2003. He died a year later from a brain tumor.

Four men have been arrested in connection with a brutal beating at a Tim McGraw concert on Sunday, which left a teenager fighting for his life.

Country star Tim McGraw has been sued by bosses at his record label for breach of contract.

Curb Records executives claim the singer handed over master recordings for his latest offering, Emotional Traffic, too closely to the completion of 2009's Southern Voice and, as a result, the songs were not "topical and new."
