Dave Matthews Did Something Totally Unexpected To A Fan

6/4/2015 1:39pm EDT
Dave matthews
Singer Dave Matthews made a fan's day on Monday by pulling her over while traffic was stopped in Atlanta. The singer noticed his band's signtaure fire dancer bumper sticker on the woman's car as she was in gridlock in front of his hotel.

The fan says she heard a tap on her window, realized who it was, and yelled: "Holy s**t!! Dave Matthews' face is in my car window!" reported TMZ.

Without hesitation, she pulled over and Matthews gladly posed for a photo. He then asked her to point him in the direction of a good bar.

It isn't the first time Matthews has cavorted with regular people. In 20...

"Glee" star Cory Monteith, who died tragically over the weekend, portrayed a drug-addicted hustler in his last film, "McCanick." The film's director said that Monteith pushed for the role because it was very familiar to him, having come from years of struggles to keep his own drug addictions at bay. (story)

It's official: Jenny McCarthy is joining "The View." The actress, who has posed nude for Playboy magazine several times, will replace co-host Elisabeth Hasselback, who announced her departure last week. Co-host Joy Behar is also leaving the show, but so far there's no word on who will r...

Dave Matthews
Funny the way it is -- one fan of the Dave Matthews Band was in the right place at the right time (for her, that is) and in for a big surprise Saturday when she stopped to pick up a stranded cyclist. That cyclist turned out to be the band's frontman Dave Matthews himself, who was out for a pre-show ride.

Emily Kraus, a DMB fan since she was nine-years-old, according to CNN, was on her way to the band's show in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon when she and her boyfriend Joe spotted a cyclist on the side of the road with a flat tire. The couple stopped to offer him help and realiz...

Writer's Viewpoint: Is Lindsay Lohan Capable Of A Comeback?

5/20/2009 9:35am EDT
Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan recently voiced that she will finally be on the straight (no pun intended) and narrow path of life. Her plight began with the Ellen Degeneres Show where she claimed that she had no idea (her and Samantha Ronson) were breaking up, that she found out how we all did, via the tabloids. Lohan continued on throughout the interview taking no responsibility for any of her unsavory actions. Is she an immature, spoiled party girl or the victim of an admittedly out of control, ever so invasive paparazzi? She claims the latter, although her behavior shows otherwise.

As we a...

Concerts Break Out At The DNC and RNC Conventions

9/8/2008 2:26pm EDT
Barack Obama
Conventions or Concerts?

The month of August brought the U.S. two big music festivals, one in Denver and one in the Twin Cities. Oh, wait, what's that you say? These weren't music festivals, but the Democratic and Republican National Conventions? Interesting. In the past, presidential candidates have used music as part of their campaigns, but never before like this. This summer, the 2008 Democratic and Republican National Conventions crossed politics and music so much that they rose to concert-like levels.

Obamapalooza, err, I mean the DNC featured performances by Melissa Ether...

Adam Sandler is White Ladies Man in Judd Apatow's 'You Don’t Mess With the Zohan'

6/6/2008 9:44am EDT
You Don
( – In the relatively anemic anthology of recent Adam Sandler flops, “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” hangs above with comedic charm and a nonsensically amusing plotline. The story is divisively intermingled with racial and ethnic sensitivities between the Israelis and Palestinians.

At first, it even feels like a scribe sat down for a few weeks, slammed back a few brewskies and toked daily on the good ganja while attempting to ink a forcefully novel plot.

In You Don't Mess with the Zohan, Emmanuelle Chriqui stars as Dalia: a Palestinian immigrant to New York an...
