Master P's estranged wife has filed legal papers accusing the rap mogul of leaving her destitute.

Sonya Miller filed for divorce from the hip-hop icon last October in a bid to end their 24-year marriage.

Reports suggest the pair had been separated for several years and Sonya has now filed new documents accusing Master P, real name Percy Miller, of failing to provide for their four minor children and ignoring her divorce petition.

The rapper has already been fined $10,000 by a judge for ignoring the papers.

Hip-hop mogul Master P is covering the costs of a funeral for a mother of three who was shot and killed in Louisville, Kentucky, because the tragedy reminds him of his brother's brutal slaying years ago.

The rapper has been moved to help the family of Andrea Arnold, whose body was discovered in an alley on 30 November (13).

Rap mogul Master P's wife has filed for divorce.

Sonya Miller is keen to end the couple's 24-year marriage and she cites "irreconcilable differences" for the split.

She has requested full custody of the couple's four minor children and spousal support.

Sonya filed a request for child support from the rap boss, real name Percy Miller, in 2011, but, according to, the couple never officially ended its marriage.

Rapper Snoop Dogg has quit his record label. The Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker has confirmed he will no longer release albums through Interscope records, which has been his home for almost ten years of his career.

The star launched his first LP Doggystyle in 1993 through the label's subsidiary Death Row Records, and went on to release two more hit records under the Death Row banner.

Rapper C-Murder is appealing to a U.S. court to postpone his second murder trial because the judge presiding over his case is seeking re-election to the Judicial District Court post.

Hip-hop mogul P. Miller is launching his own family-friendly cable network to provide "positive" viewing for the black community.

The star, formerly known as Master P, announced on Thursday that the new network - titled Better Black Television - will focus on general entertainment, ranging from drama, comedy, movies, animation, politics and sports, as well as entertainment news.

And Miller has brought a number of celebrities on board BBTV - Oscar-winner Denzel Washington, rap pioneer DJ Kool Herc and NBA basketball player Derek Anderson are among the network's board members.

Rapper Master P has followed Sean 'Diddy' Combs' lead - and changed his name. The hitmaker/entrepreneur, real name Percy Miller, now wants to be referred to as P. Miller - because it's a more grown-up moniker.

Miller has been known as Master P since entering the rap game in the early 1990s.

He says, "I'm changing my name because Master. P is who I used to be. I call it my childhood, and P. Miller marks my manhood... People grow mentally and spiritually through life experiences."

Rapper C-Murder has had his request to travel out of the state of Louisiana denied while he awaits a retrial on a second-degree murder charge. The troubled star - real name Corey Miller - is currently under house arrest in his New Orleans home after being released on $500,000 bail in March 2006.

The 36-year-old brother of hip-hop star Master P stands accused of fatally shooting teenager Steve Thomas outside a local nightclub in 2002.

Miller's 2003 conviction was thrown out in 2006 when prosecutors were found guilty of withholding criminal background information on witnesses.

Former gangster rapper Percy Miller, whose son Percy 'Romeo' Miller is signed to his No Limit Records, is starting a new label where words such as "n#$ger" and "ho" will not be permitted.
