George McCorkle Of The Marshall Tucker Band Passes Away At 60
Country rocker
George McCorkle has lost his battle with cancer just a month after he was diagnosed with the disease. He was 60. The guitarist, who died on Friday, co-founded the
Marshall Tucker Band in 1971 and wrote the band's Southern rock anthem
Fire On The Mountain.
