Albums Featuring Numbers in Their Titles, Since 2000
Ah, what’s in an album title? A lot, depending on the respective album. In the case of the albums that grace this list, numbers play a role in the title and in some cases have significance. In other cases, the numbers are merely an easy way to keep up with the album number. Regardless, here’s a list of albums featuring numbers in their title – all since 2000 – and the meaning of the album’s title.

1) All of Adele's albums

Pop superstar Adele seems to love numbers, particularly her ages. All three of Adele’s studio albums (19, 21, and 25) all feature numbers in the title. While it might ...

Eye Candy: 41 Sexiest Album Covers
Ah, is there anything that’s tastier than candy? While the answer to that question is debatable, few will argue about the power and beauty of the kind of candy that you DON’T eat, but rather view with the eyes. That ladies and gents is “eye candy” which taps into lustfulness, innuendo and unapologetic naughtiness among a variety of other characterizations. Eye candy has been around for years and we, as humans never seem to tire of its power. Its shock value keeps us talking and keeps our eyes glued considering we “can’t get enough.”

Music can be the ultimate “ear candy,” featuring the...

A Guy’s Perspective: 13 Songs About Girls
When it comes to girls, it’s pretty easy to get a guy’s attention. Perhaps the attention span is shorter for other things he doesn’t want to do, but when it comes to the ladies, he’s “all ears.” Just think how many songs guys have written/sung about girls – endless! These songs range from chivalrous and dedicated to ‘strip down and let’s make love.’ We could never hope to cover all the songs about girls written from a guy’s point of view, but here are 13 worthwhile ones that clearly speak to the power girls have upon guys.

10 Songs That Take Objectification Way Too Far
Admit it – we’ve all been guilty of oogling, aka checking somebody else out. Ah, the art of objectification – treating a person like they’re an ‘object of pleasure’ as opposed to a human with legitimate emotions, etc. Most often, it seems this occurs at the hand of men, though Jennifer Lopez proved on “I Luh You Papi” that guys can be objectified as well. Still, objectification can cross the line into unquestionable misogynistic territory, and the songs on this particular playlist definitely trend “left of center.” Here are 10 songs that take objectification way too far.

Anti-Rape Group Slams Maroon 5 'Animals' Video For Trivializing Stalking

10/3/2014 11:00am EDT
Anti-Rape Group Slams Maroon 5 'Animals' Video For Trivializing
Maroon 5 is in hot water over its new video for the single "Animals," which centers on frontman Adam Levine, who plays a stalker who becomes obsessed with a woman (played by real-life wife Behati Prinsloo) when she shows up at the butcher's shop where he works.

At one point, Levine and Prinsloo writhe around suggestively while getting soaked in blood and Levine spends quite a bit of of the music video hacking away at animal carcasses.

The song includes lyrics such as: Baby, I'm preying on you tonight/
Hunt you down eat you alive...Maybe you think that you can hide/ I can smell your scent ...

Maroon 5 released a hot new video for their latest single, "Animals," on Tuesday, and the new promo features lead singer Adam Levine and his real-life wife Behati Prinsloo taking their bedroom chemistry to the small screen.

While Prinsloo looks her usual gorgeous, unattainable self, Levine plays the role of a stalker who becomes obsessed with her when she shows up at the butcher's shop where he works (and sadly attempts to cut ribs with a cleaver while wearing a hair net).

Becoming smitten by her beauty, the singer is seen in his apartment with black-and-white photos of her hanging everyw...

Christian Rapper Lecrae Takes ‘Anomaly’ To The Top Of Billboard 200

9/18/2014 8:31am EDT
Lecrae Anomaly
It’s rare that the Christian rapper debuts atop the Billboard 200. How rare – well it never happens – like “never ever.” Anyways, Lecrae made it happen this week as Anomaly outperformed early prognostications and sold 88,000 copies. Lecrae was able to hold off a strong second week from Maroon 5’s V (80,000 copies, #2) as well as what was thought to be a tight race with Jhené Aiko (Souled Out sold 70,000 copies, good for #3).

While Lecrae’s debut is celebratory, it is also another week where no albums moved 100,000 copies. Throw in the fact that besides Lecrae and Jhené Aiko, the top ...

'Maroon 5' Earns Second #1 Album With ‘V’: This Week In Music
Expectedly, rock/pop band Maroon 5 debut atop the Billboard 200 with their fifth studio album, V. Until V arrived, it had been seven years since Maroon 5 first reached the penthouse of the Billboard Album Charts, when It Won’t Be Soon Before Long sold a robust 429,000 copies. V doesn’t open nearly as hot, but does sell a respectable 164,000 copies. Those numbers are in line with other first-week sales in 2014, including Ariana Grande’s My Everything (#1, 169,000) Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour (#2, 166,000).

Thankfully, Maroon 5 wouldn’t be the only big name dropping respectable number...

Maroon 5 'V' (Deluxe Edition) Review: Two Sides To One Successful Record

9/2/2014 12:05pm EDT
As mentioned in our review of Maroon 5's Overexposed, this is a band that's constantly evolving. None of their records sounds quite like any of the others; whether or not that's a good thing depends on which incarnation you prefer. Fifth album V does its part to continue the group's transition into slickly produced pop-rock that began with Overexposed, yet what makes the record worth a listen are the few tracks where it breaks from effects and goes back to the band's true musicianship.

If you've heard the first three singles - "Maps," "It Was Always You" and "Animals" - you've got a good s...

15 Must See Music Videos of 2014
Once upon a time, music videos were played frequently on television. It’s hard to believe in 2014, but once there was a spot for those visual pieces accompanying the audio. While they're still played on TV (less frequently), music videos get the majority of views via the Internet through outlets like YouTube and Vevo. With so much attention placed on albums and songs, sometimes it’s easy to forget sensational music videos themselves. Here are 15 must see music videos of 2014.

Maroon 5's 'Maps' Shows That There Is No Hope Left For The Band

6/21/2014 2:00pm EDT
Maroon 5
A long time ago, a band emerged from sunny Los Angeles, California with one of the best pop debut records in recent memory. That record was called "Songs About Jane" and it featured a plethora of radio hits that were both instanly memorable and also instantly replayable.

That band's name is Maroon 5, and "Songs About Jane" skyrocketed them and their charismatic leader Adam Levine to instant stardom. Their music, however, seemed to travel in the exact opposite direction of their fame, and every attempt to follow "Songs About Jane" has ended with less than superb results.

Then came "Overexp...

Maroon 5 Keeps Psy From Hitting Number One On The Pop Charts

10/18/2012 9:59am EDT
South Korean pop sensation Psy still can't beat Maroon 5 to number one on the pop charts. Psy has been stuck in the number two spot for four weeks.

The "Gangnam Style" star promished he'll perform his hit song topless "in a place where everyone can watch" if it hits the top of the charts, but it appears he'll be keeping his shirt on for good because Maroon 5 notched up a fifth week at number one on Wednesday with "One More Night."

Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble" debuts at three, two spots ahead of the country superstar's former number one "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,...

Adam Levine Opens Up About His Mind-Bending Mushroom Experience

7/3/2012 8:57am EDT
Adam Levine
Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine is certain his experiments with hallucinogenic drugs were "valuable and beneficial," because they made him understand himself better.

The singer admits he got high using magic mushrooms in the past, and reveals the experience helped him rediscover a childlike view of the world around him.

He tells Q magazine, "I definitely, firmly believe that the experience I had on mushrooms made me understand certain things about myself that I probably wouldn't have otherwise."

Album Review: Maroon 5, 'Overexposed'

6/26/2012 9:00am EDT
Maroon 5
One has to admire the sharp wit that's evident in Maroon 5 naming their new album Overexposed. Even better, though, is that their fourth studio album reminds us of what makes them so good: reinventing themselves over and over again without a decline in quality.

If you must, categorize them as a pop-rock band, but the Los Angeles rockers have employed so many different sounds over the course of four studio albums - and successfully so - that to classify them feels like a disservice. Overexposed is another diverse outing, with the reggae-infused lead track "One More Night" sounding differe...

The Maroon 5 star was snapped affectionately cuddling and kissing Namibian catwalk star Behati Prinsloo in the tropical island, and was later photographed again holding hands with the brunette beauty at Los Angeles' Mustard Seed Cafe on Thursday.

He split from Vyalitsyna, his girlfriend of two years, in April, but it appears the singing Lothario has already moved on.

His new romance could prompt an awkward encou...

Adam Levine Will Never 'Go Solo'

5/19/2012 7:25pm EDT
Adam Levine
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has vowed never to quit and go solo - because he can't imagine his idol Bono releasing an album without U2.

The Moves Like Jagger singer accepts his band may split one day - but he'd rather form another group than go solo.

He says, "I'll never be a solo artist... Being in a band is much more fun."

And he tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "Look at a band like U2 that has been around forever - I'm not sure how people would react to a record called Bono. I don't want to ever be that person.

"It's much cooler to be in a band with my bros."
