He is absoulutley breath taking. His music just sets your soul free. So amazing, it's almost speechless. But to really understand where i'm coming from it's got to be in your soul. I love you Damien, Ky-mani, Stephen, all of you, and especially the one and only Mr. Bob Marley.

Damian Marley is more a than talented, he is electric! He has evolved reggae and conscious lyrics to his own unique beat and is extremely versatile lyrically (some of which never fails to make me smile and wonder). I don't think he gets enough credit for the work he does or has done. It is true that his father's fame has helped him somewhat in making a name for himself but I beleive that even if he wasn't the son of Bob Marley he would have carved a niche for himself in the music business. Nuff respect to you rastaman.

'Welcome to Jamrock' is so good. Can't wait for him to make a new album.

I am a new listener to Damian Marley's music. I have always liked reggae, but I didn't know artists names or cared enough about anything but the beat to really know what they were saying; other than for a small few. My first experience was Bob Marley, of course, and he will always be the master. Then I got into "Earth Crisis" by Steele Pulse, and that has been the extent of my true reggae knowledge until I listened to my daughter's copy of "Welcome to Jamrock". I actually had to go to a quiet place and concentrate. It is so bold, both lyrics and sound, and I have never heard anything like it. Now I have a voracious appetite for all of his and his brothers' music. They are deep and truly inspired, and I feel privileged that I am able to hear, and be a part of their message.
