MSTRKRFT is an electronic music duo from Toronto, Canada that came together in 2005 when Jesse F. Keeler and Al-P (Alex Puodziukas) began recording together. The duo was friends for a number of years before deciding to work together, and have worked with other artists, such as Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Justice, Bloc Party, Ayumi Hamasaki, Metric, Wolfmother, Annie, and The Kills.

2006 saw MSTRKRFT’s debut single, “Easy Love,” followed by their second single, “Work On You.” MSTRKRFT’s debut album, “The Looks,” arrived in 2006 and showcased a dark, underground disco sound with elements of house and rock music.

2007 saw MSTRKRFT perform at the Parklife Festival in Brisbane, Australia. 2008 saw the duo featured on the famed BBC Radio 1 show, ‘The Essential Mix.” 2009 marked the arrival of MSTRKRFT’s second album, “Fist of God,” which featured guest appearances by John Legend, E-40, N.O.R.E., and Lil' Mo.

2011 saw the duo release two new singles, “Beards Again” and “Back in the USSA” off their untitled third album.
