Lisa Loeb Welcomes Baby Boy

Singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb has given birth to a baby boy.

The Stay (I Missed You) hit-maker and her husband Roey Hershkovitz welcomed their second child, son Emet Kuli Loeb Hershkovitz, to their family on Friday, her representative tells People.com.

Loeb gave birth in Los Angeles and the newborn, who weighed in at seven pounds, seven ounces, will join his two-year-old sister Lyla Rose.

The musician tells the publication, "We're so happy to have a sweet, healthy baby. Lyla is excited to be a big sister!"

Singer Lisa Loeb is pregnant with her second child.

The Stay hit-maker is due to give birth this June, according to People.com.

Loeb and her husband Roey Hershkovitz wed in 2009 and already have one two-year-old daughter, Lyla Rose.

The thrilled mom-to-be says, "My daughter is so beautiful and sweet and funny... I grew up with a big family, so I'm excited for Lyla to have a sibling. It's a little bit of a challenge to try to balance my work with my family, but my family comes first."

Singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb has released a collection of children's songs inspired by her two-year-old daughter Lyla.

The "Stay (I've Missed You)" hitmaker has largely been absent from the music industry following the birth of her first child in November, 2009, but she's drawn upon her experiences as a new mom to record her latest album "Silly Sing-Along: The Disappointing Pancake And Other Zany Songs."
