Cher Lloyd (born July 28, 1993) is an English recording artist. Lloyd rose to fame when she finished fourth in the seventh series of “The X Factor.” Shortly after, Lloyd was signed by Simon Cowell to Sony Music subsidiary Syco Music.

Lloyd and nine other contestants from the series participated in the “X Factor Live Tour” from February 2011 to April 2011. Lloyd worked with various producers and songwriters including RedOne, Toby Gad, Max Martin, The Runners, Kevin Rudolf and Savan Kotecha, among others on her debut album, “Sticks + Stones,” which was released in the U.K. November 2011. Her debut single, “Swagger Jagger,” preceded the album in July 2011 and peaked at #1 on the U.K. Singles chart. The album was released in 2012 in the United States and Canada through Epic Records. It reached #4 on the U.K. Albums chart upon its release there in 2011.
