Lil Scrappy Arrested In Atlanta For Violating His Probation

Rapper Lil Scrappy was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday for violating his probation.

The hip-hop star, real name Darryl Kevin Richardson II, was taken into custody and booked at the DeKalb County Jail.

According to, Richardson landed in trouble after breaking the terms of his probation stemming from a prior drugs conviction.

It is unknown how Richardson violated his probation but authorities listed the incident as occurring on September 4th.

Rapper Lil Scrappy was hospitalized in Georgia this week after suffering a crippling asthma attack.

The hip-hop star was admitted to the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta on Tuesday after waking up with breathing problems, and the 28 year old is convinced he could have died.

He tells, "I damn near died... if it weren't for my driver (and my) mom... I would have been dead... I felt like I was dying."
