Catherine Zeta-Jones has broken her silence following her split from husband Michael Douglas to praise the veteran actor for his recent win at the Primetime Emmy Awards.

The Hollywood couple announced it was separating in August (13), but Douglas has continued to wear his wedding ring and has been downplaying the marriage trouble as a "temporary situation".

He even paid tribute to Zeta-Jones in his Emmy acceptance speech as he was honoured for his portrayal of Liberace in Behind the Candelabra on 22 September (13), telling the audience, "I want to thank my wife Catherine for her support."...

Liberace's former lover Scott Thorson has escaped another jail sentence after a judge agreed he should attend rehab instead.

Thorson, who was portrayed by Matt Damon in acclaimed 2013 TV movie Behind the Candelabra, breached his probation agreement when he failed a drug test recently - and he was facing another lengthy jail term.

Liberace's former lover Scott Thorson has accused the makers of Behind The Candelabra of turning their backs on him by refusing to bail him out of jail.

The 54 year old, who is fighting colon cancer, was put behind bars for burglary after he was arrested in Nevada on 22 February (13) for hiring a hotel room with a credit card that did not belong to him.

Finally, the first trailer for Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra has arrived to give us a peek at the film centered on the singer's relationship with Scott Thorson.
