Adam Levine turned his back on drugs after bad experience
Pop star Adam Levine swore off drugs early on in his career after a strange experience on prescription medication Ambien.
The Maroon 5 frontman and his bandmate James Valentine mistook the sedatives for stimulants and took them while on tour, but instead of giving them a much-needed boost, the drug knocked them out cold - while they were waiting for dinner.
He says, "We had a brief experience one time with what I guess was Ambien. James Valentine and I, we didn't really know what it was... It was the first and last time we took this drug. But we were at Denny's (diner) at some shady part ...

TV Preview: 'The Voice' Season 4
Welcome to the new Voice - just as good as the old Voice.
The Voice is back for its fourth season, and it's come with much buzz over the arrival of Shakira and Usher, who are standing in for Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green this time around. Everyone wants to know if the new foursome in the big red chairs will click like the old one, and the answer is a resounding yes. The Voice of season four is reminiscent of the Voice of season one: all the banter but without the moments of tension that raised some eyebrows in later cycles. This is not to detract from Aguilera and Green, who were goo...

DJ Josh LeCash Hits the Big Screen with 'Rebel Rebel Rebel'
Josh LeCash is not your ordinary DJ. The Miami native has DJ'ed for the likes of Katy Perry and Adam Levine, and his straightforward, no-bull personality has made him a movie star as well. He's the subject of the documentary film Rebel Rebel Rebel, which won the top short doc prize at the Los Angeles Art House Film Festival and recently caused a buzz at Slamdance. BFTV checked in with Josh earlier this week - as he geared up to work Maroon 5's post-Grammy party - to get the 411 on his movie and what it's really like to be a top DJ.

Cee Lo has given them Adam Lambert's "Whataya Want From Me," which Nakia performed in season one, and he knocked it out of the park back then, so these two have no small quest in front of them. 'The Voice' Recap: Season 3 Blind Auditions. Part 7
As we head toward the finish of blind auditions, Tuesday proved to be a big day for The Voice. Against stiff competition, The Voice had less overall viewers than ABC's Dancing With The Stars (11.93 to 14.58), but won the coveted 18-49 demographic - and an expected renewal for seasons four and five from NBC. (This isn't really news given that the announcement of coach changes referenced both seasons four and five. But it's nice to hear formally.) So what's the show going to do on such a busy night? Continue filling out the teams, of course!

We're into our third week of Season 3 blind auditions on The Voice, and three weeks could be too much. 'The Voice' News Roundup: 'Voice' Beats X Factor, Plus New Interviews With Season 3's Artists
Right now, this picture is accurate. NBC may have been criticized for clearly counter-programming The Voice against rival The X Factor, but the Peacock got the last laugh as Voice beat Factor in the shows' first head-to-head battle this season. In last night's 8-9 PM hour, Voice delivered 10.66 million viewers to Factor's 7.45.
The X Factor was also defeated in its second hour by the finale of NBC's America's Got Talent, which earned just over 11 million viewers to the 9.49 of Factor.
