R&B singer/producer Ryan Leslie is following in Swizz Beatz's footsteps and taking on a role as a student mentor at New York University.
Beatz shared the secrets of his success with youngsters enrolled at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at the University's Tisch School of the Arts for the last academic year, serving as the first Producer in Residence.
Now Leslie is set to take on a similar job - the Addiction star has been appointed the first Artist in Residence for the current 2011-2012 school year.
