Five sexy supermodels have taken on the role of playing Duran Duran in the band's upcoming video, "Girl Panic!"

In addition to filming the video for the band's new song, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen and D2 lead singer Simon LeBon's model wife Yasmin have done a new photoshoot in conjunction with the video shoot for the UK's Harper's Bazaar magazine.

Scottish DJ Calvin Harris has stepped in to replace Duran Duran at Britain's V Festival next month after the band scrapped its summer tour schedule.

Frontman Simon Le Bon has been ordered to rest his damaged vocal cords and undergo therapy in a bid to recover his voice.

They announced the tour axe on Tuesday, with Le Bon saying, "This couldn't have come at a worse time - but I am trying to be philosophical about my recovery as there's nothing else I can do."

Duran Duran have cancelled their entire summer tour to allow frontman Simon Le Bon to rest his damaged vocal cords.

The Rio hitmakers were set to kick off their tour in Dublin, Ireland next week but on Tuesday the group scrapped all their shows after physicians advised the singer to undergo physical therapy.

He tells the Associated Press, "I am doing everything I can to work through this and get back on track as soon as possible."
