Machine Head were the big winners at last night's Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in London, claiming two major honors and performing the night's live highlight. The California rockers claimed the Best Album award for the critically-acclaimed Blackening and front man Robb Flynn picked up the night's Golden God honor.

NEW YORK (AP) - As flip-flops hit the pavement and barbecue grills ignite, some of the biggest artists are packing their bags to get the summer concert season started.

Ozzy Osbourne has hinted that the 2007 Ozzfest tour may be his last - because he fears he hasn't got the energy to hit the road again. The rocker headlines the summer trek again with Hatebreed and Lamb of God, which this year is free to fans. And he's telling fans to make the most of the show - as it could be his last.

Coming soon to a TV near you will be the weekly 30-minute metal program, 'Rocknation.' Put together by the Perris Records label, the program will air weekly Saturday night at midnight, and will feature only the best metal videos - of artists from other labels as well as on Perris.

DevilDriver returns from a successful European tour with Lamb Of God. Now hits the road in the US with In Flames, Zao and label mates Trivium. "Being on the road is where we like to be," says lead singer Dez Fafara. "The European tour was killer.

There's not a whole lot of new releases this week since it's almost the holidays.
