Armoury Records, distributed by Eagle Rock Entertainment, released one mighty molten metal blast of good CD cheer: We Wish You A Metal Xmas And A Headbanging New Year.

Guns N' Roses' original line-up will reform to mark the 20th anniversary of the band's album Appetite For Destruction - but without lead singer Axl Rose. Drummer Stephen Adler claims the event will take place at Los Angeles' Key Club on July 28 - and include original members Slash, Izzy Stradlin and Duff McKagan.

Now is the time to reflect back upon the stunning achievements of one Gilby Clarke, singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer. Spitfire Records will do just that with Clarke's January 30, self-titled release. The album includes 14 tracks from his muscular solo catalog, two from his days in the criminally-ignored Colonel Parker with ex-Stray Cat Slim Jim Phantom, and one re-recording of "Black" with Rock Star: Super Nova runner-up Dilana Smith.
