The Good, The Bad and The Queen is a new project featuring Damon Albarn (Blur/Gorillaz), Paul Simonon (The Clash), Tony Allen (Fela Kuti/Africa 70) and Simon Tong (The Verve). The first seeds of the endeavor can be traced back to 2002, when Damon Albarn first worked with Tony Allen. Two years later Tony and Simon Tong (The Verve) would join Damon at Aphrodisia studios in Lagos for two weeks of recording.
