Singer/songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk has retracted comments she made about fellow Canadian Avril Lavigne's songwriting skills after the pop punk threatened legal action. Kreviazuk dismissed former collaborator Lavigne's writing skills in an interview in the June issue of Performing Songwriter magazine, upsetting the Girlfriend singer in the process.
