Kittie's Father/Manager Dies
The father of two members of Canadian rocker group Kittie has died.
David Lander - who was in his fifties - reportedly suffered a heart attack last weekend. He was father to guitarist Morgan Lander and drummer Mercedes Lander, and was also the band's longtime manager.
Morgan Lander paid tribute to her father and praised his dedication to the all-girl group. She tells Blabbermouth.net, "We wanted to extend our appreciation for all of the support and kind words we have received in the days since my father's passing."

Kittie bass player Trish Doan has been forced to pull out of the group's current tour - to battle an eating disorder.
