Kings of Convenience is an indie folk-pop duo from Bergen, Norway, consisting of Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe. The group is known for their distinct voices, and guitar melodies. Øye and Bøe were both born in 1975 in Bergen, Norway, and have known each other since they were in elementary school together. The duo is equally talented in their vocal and instrumental abilities. They stared out making short comedic rap skits while still in school that got them attention from friends and family.
