	Of the hundreds of artists I like, KC would probably be the band I could classify my "favourite." The sheer experimental nature of their music, with complex time signatures, varied scales, and use of completly new ideas (or the ways in which they fuse different ideas) is wonderful. Also I find they have just enough restraint to not be overblown or too pretentious. Plus the sheer variety of their output, covering symphonic rock, jazz fusion, pure jazz, classical pieces, hard rock, metal, avantgarde, new wave, pop, tribal, mathrock, space rock, electronica, even pure noise at times. Not to mention they are superb live, from presenting the classic songs all the way to improvising entirely new pieces from scratch. Amazing.
