Carrie Underwood showed off her new hairdo Friday night at the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The star, looking sexy as usual, sported a pair of black sequined short-shorts with a silver & black top and a pair of peep-toe boots to complete the look.

Carrie performed a number of her hits during her set at the festival; which also saw performances from Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Jane's Addiction, Alicia Keys and fellow American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson.

Hip-hop supercouple Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are fighting back against allegations their one-year marriage is in trouble.

The stars wed last summer on the French island of Corsica, and Keys gave birth to their first child together, son Egypt, the following October.

Believe it or not, this television-aholic actually scoffed at the early promos of what would come to be FOX’s mega-hit, “Glee.” The show looked silly and childish, and I thought it would be cancelled before the fourth episode. Rapper Kanye West is preparing to release a new solo album this summer, just months after wowing critics with "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy."

The "Stronger" hitmaker's fifth release was named the album of 2010 in a string of end-of-year polls.
