Kenny G Files For Divorce After 20-Year Marriage

Seven months after separating from his wife of 20 years, saxophonist Kenny G has filed for divorce.

Balynda Helene Benson-Gorelick filed for legal separation in January, and the musician has hired a top divorce attorney to represent him.

The smooth jazz musician cites irreconcilable differences for the break up, according to TMZ.com. The 56-year-old married Balynda Helene in April 1992.

The couple has a 14-year-old son, Noah. Kenny G wants full physical custody of their son.

Celebrated saxophonist Kenny G's wife has filed for a legal separation.

The easy listening superstar and Lyndie Benson-Gorelick have been married for 20 years.

According to TMZ.com, Benson-Gorelick, who has filed papers in Los Angeles, has hired top lawyer Gary Fishbein to represent her and Kenny G has hired Laura Wasser, suggesting the couple is planning to divorce.

Christmas has come early for Josh Groban - his festive album Noel has hit the top of the U.S. charts seven weeks after its release. The album jumped up a spot from two to one, selling a stunning 405,000 copies, which insiders claim was sparked by a surprise appearance on a recent Oprah show.

Kenny G has paid a girl's medical bill after she was wounded from objects thrown out of his holiday villa. Nine-year-old Brooke Porter was at a beach in Los Angeles when she was struck by two candy bars thrown from the musician's compound. She was hospitalized and needed four stitches.

Two teenagers on the property - who are not related to Kenny - are believed to have thrown the objects, according to county sheriff officials.
