Toby Keith Continues Reign As Highest-Paid Country Star
For the second year in a row, Toby Keith is the highest-paid singer in country music, according to Forbes. The singer has earned a total of $65 million since June, 2013, and more than $335 million over the last six years.

Taylor Swift is second on the list with earnings of $64 million in the past year. She is followed by Kenny Chesney ($44 million), Jason Aldean ($37 million) and Luke Bryan ($34 million).

Keith's income is due to profits from his record label, Show Dog - Universal, as well as collaborations with Ford, his restaurant I Love This Bar, and his Wild Shot liquor range.

Garth Brooks was a busy man Saturday, jetting from Las Vegas to Norman, Oklahoma, with wife Trisha Yearwood to play at pal Toby Keith's benefit concert for victims of the tornadoes that ravaged the area in May.

Both singers made appearances during Keith's fundraiser at the University of Oklahoma's Memorial Stadium, where over 60,000 fans gathered for a day of country music from the likes of the three stars along with Willie Nelson, Ronnie Dunn and... Sammy Hagar.

When a deadly tornado touched down in Tobey Keith's hometown of Moore, Oklaohoma, on Monday, the singer's mother and sister were among those who had to run for cover.

An enormous twister struck the town yersterday afternoon, killing dozens of people and leaving behind a wide path of destruction, including the leveling of two elementary schools.

Country music singer Toby Keith helped raise $664,000 for a center for child cancer patients in just one weekend.

The star hosted the ninth annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic, a two-day fundraiser last month, and his efforts brought the total fund for the center up to almost $3.7 million.
