Country star John Rich has become the latest celebrity to add fashion designer to his resume by launching his own Redneck Riviera apparel line.

The Shuttin' Detroit Down hitmaker reveals the project has been a few years in the making after realising no one had capitalised on the Redneck Riviera name, which is used by locals to describe the Gulf Coast.

He tells, "I started putting together a team of people from manufacturers to developers to people in the apparel world, and started developing out this line.

Country star Toby Keith has opened his new charity lodge for young cancer sufferers after spending 10 years raising funds for the hostel.

The Beer For My Horses singer has spent the past decade working on the OK Kids Corral project in his native Oklahoma - and the medical retreat opened last week (ends22Nov13).

Keith tells WENN, "It's a 16-room lodge for cancer kids, where they can stay with their families while they're in Oklahoma City getting top cancer treatment. They don't have to be commuting back and forth."

Garth Brooks was a busy man Saturday, jetting from Las Vegas to Norman, Oklahoma, with wife Trisha Yearwood to play at pal Toby Keith's benefit concert for victims of the tornadoes that ravaged the area in May.

Both singers made appearances during Keith's fundraiser at the University of Oklahoma's Memorial Stadium, where over 60,000 fans gathered for a day of country music from the likes of the three stars along with Willie Nelson, Ronnie Dunn and... Sammy Hagar.

Tickets for the show were all $25 and all the proceeds went to the Tornadoes Relief Fund at United Way of Central Oklahoma.
