Legendary Australian music venue The Palace, which has played host to Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Iggy Pop, is to be demolished after it was destroyed in a fire on Wednesday. The popular Melbourne haunt, which has also seen performances by British rockers Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys, was gutted in a blaze which broke out around 3pm local time.
