The 2013 Oscars will feature a 50th Anniversary celebration of James Bond in the movies.

The tribute to tribute Ian Fleming's secret agent 007 will include a performance of a medley of Bond theme songs from Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones and Adele.

Five of the six actors to portray James Bond on film will join the singers on stage.

Pierce Brosnan declined his invitation to participate, leaving Sean Connery, Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig one Bond short.

Tom Jones feared he would lose the powerful voice which propelled him to superstardom after undergoing surgery to remove nodules in the 1990s.

The "Delilah" crooner started having problems with his voice two decades ago due to overworking his vocal cords during his hectic performance schedule.

He was forced to undergo surgeries to remove the nodules which had developed, and the star admits he was wracked with fear he would be left without his talent when he recovered from the operation.

Tom Jones' new album is a tribute to his late pal Elvis Presley - the Welsh singer promised The King he would one day record gospel songs.

The music veteran moved away from pop to release Praise & Blame, a compilation of hymns and gospel tracks, over the summer.

Jones admits he has wanted to release a gospel album ever since Presley suggested it during a late night jam session, and the Sex Bomb hit-maker was determined to keep his word.

Tom Jones Pays Tribute To Wife In Love Song

Veteran crooner Tom Jones has written his first love song for his wife - 51 years after they met.

The 68-year-old singer penned The Road for beloved spouse Linda, his childhood sweetheart, and the track features on his upcoming album 24 Hours.

Jones says, "The song is a thank you for being there for over 50 years. Some people drift apart, but my wife and I haven't. We still have the same basic feelings."

Jones married Linda aged 16 in his hometown of Pontypridd, Wales. They have a son, Mark, who acts as the singer's manager.
