I think that Ms.Jones needs to quit fakein the funk she is however the godmama of soul I hear it and see it but the real queen of funk is from the band parliament/funkadelic she owns the domain name,logo and trademark. I think its a shame when people take the true funk music out of its context.James Brown(Godfather Of Soul)likes 2 make it funky now!(George(Dr.Funkenstein The King Of Funk)Clinton,(Rick The King Of Punk Funk)James,Bootsy Collins,Roger&Zapp,Ohio Players,Gap Band,Earth Wind&fire,ect
those are some of the true funk bands.Mallia has sung on nearly every hit album with p-funk
