Rapper Jim Jones' fiancee Chrissy Lampkin has been arrested following an alleged bust-up at a New Jersey bar.

The reality TV star was taken into custody early on Sunday morning (29Dec13) in the town of Edgewater.

A representative for the Edgewater Police Department tells TMZ.com that Lampkin was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct and was released on bail a few hours later.

Rapper Jim Jones is set to tackle his first leading movie role in a new vampire film project.

The hip-hop star will star in and produce upcoming action film Vampire Life: The Movie, which will be in a similar vein to 2002 straight-to-DVD film State Property, which Jones made a cameo in.

He tells entertainment website Villagevoice.com, "I love having multiple hustles, and film is just that. I have a short film due out in late spring called Vampire Life. I think it's going to surprise a lot of people."

Embattled rapper Jim Jones has been arrested for the second time in four days.

The Diplomats star was pulled over by police while driving through New York on Monday morning and booked d for driving on a suspended license, reports TMZ.com.

His latest arrest comes just three days after he was taken into custody for his part in a violent brawl at a Connecticut casino on Friday.

He was charged with assault on a police officer and for breach of peace, but Jones later took to Twitter.com to defend himself, insisting the bust-up was not as controversial as reported.

Rapper Jim Jones has been ordered to pay $200 in fines after pleading guilty to a traffic violation.

The "We Fly High" hitmaker was pulled over in New York City in March for cruising his luxury Bentley down a designated bus lane, and he was later arrested and cited for driving with a suspended licence.

But Jones cleared his name at the Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday when he pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor and paid the fine as well as an $80 court fee.

The star's licence had been suspended due to an unpaid traffic ticket, according to the New York Daily News.

The hip-hop star is accused of using Christopher R. Liggio's song Changing the Locks/Disco Rabbit on his record Changing the Locks, which features vocals from Ashanti.

Samantha Stotts and Sharie Johnson were filmed as they sunbathed and splashed in the sea wearing just bikini bottoms on a beach in Miami, Florida. Rapper Jim Jones has been ordered to take part in a 10-week anger management class after pleading guilty to assault in the third degree.

The hip-hop star, real name Joseph Jones, was accused of crashing his car into another vehicle in New York in January and then attacking the other driver by punching him and pushing him into the road.

Rapper Jim Jones is breathing a sigh of relief after a battery charge against him was dropped. The Diplomats star pleaded not guilty to the allegation in April, relating to a March incident with a teenage fan in Florida.

The hip-hop star faced one count of misdemeanor battery after Damion Johns accused Jones of punching him in the face at the MTV Spring Break concert.

But Jones has been cleared after prosecutors decided evidence against rapper was insufficient - the Florida's State Attorney's Office withdrew the charge on Friday, reports AllHipHop.com.

Rapper Jim Jones will stand trial this June in relation to charges of assault stemming from a December brawl with Ne-Yo's manager. The Diplomats crew member is facing a count of misdemeanor assault after clashing with Jayvon Smith on Christmas Eve at a Louis Vuitton store in New York.

Jones, who turned down a plea deal last month, made a brief appearance in a Manhattan court on Tuesday, when a judge scheduled his trial for June 4.

A suspect for the murder of rapper Stack Bundles has been shot dead in New York on the same day the slain Dipset star was buried. Stack Bundles - real name Rayquon Elliot - was shot and killed outside his home in the city last week. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died soon afterwards from two gunshot wounds.
