Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay has slammed reports he is taking a break from the music business because he is bored. Earlier this week, British newspapers claimed the star had decided to retire after his record deal with SonyBMG expired.

Jamiroquai frontman Jason Kay is quitting the music business after his recent split with his record company left him feeling uninspired and "bored". Kay was frustrated while working with Sony BMG and has no idea what he wants to do next creatively now he's no longer signed to the label.

Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay is quitting music for a year in a bid to return to his creative peak. The star feels Jamiroquai's Greatest Hits album has given him a sense of closure, and he wants to take a break before returning back to the basics he mastered with the group's early material.

Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay was arrested this morning after allegedly attacking a photographer outside a London nightclub. The hitmaker left London's exclusive Kabaret nightspot and began shouting at the paparazzi gathered outside. He roared, "What are you looking at?" and launched verbal tirades at photographers before he appeared to slap one snapper around the face.

Jamiroquai star Jay Kay will celebrate the end of his record contract with SonyBMG this year, by launching his own range of menswear. The 36-year-old will sever ties with the giant after releasing Jamiroquai's Greatest Hits album in November, but he is already looking forward to his new venture.
