Culture Club Reuniting For New Year's Eve Bash Down Under

Boy George's 1980s hit-makers Culture Club have reunited for the first time in 10 years ahead of a New Year's Eve show in Australia.

The gender-bending singer and band mates Roy Hay, Mikey Craig and Jon Moss have regrouped in the studio ahead of the Sydney Resolution Concert Series, which will also feature performances from Jamiroquai and the Pet Shop Boys.

Hay tells Australia's Channel Seven, "Last time we got together was 10 years ago, so it takes that long to recover from the last time we worked with each other."

Jamiroquai Cancel Concert After Technician's Death

British funk stars Jamiroquai have cancelled their Thursday night concert in Lyon, France after a tragic accident at the venue claimed the life of one of the band's tour technicians.

The group was due to perform at the city's Halle Tony Garnier Arena but they called off the show after the unnamed man fell from the stage on Thursday morning and suffered fatal injuries. A police investigation into the accident is now underway.

Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay has taken aim at pop phenomenon Lady Gaga, dismissing her as a "money-making freak."

The Space Cowboy hit-maker is well known for his outspoken views, and recently launched a tirade against British pop star Cheryl Cole and Australian singer Dannii Minogue just hours before he performed on U.K. talent show The X Factor - on which they are both judges.

And the star didn't hold back when he was asked for his opinion on pop's current first lady Gaga, insisting she is nothing more than a music industry marketing tool.

Madonna's smash hit single "Like A Prayer" has topped an MTV poll of videos that "broke the rules." The 1989 video depicts the singer dancing around burning crosses and kissing a black Christ-like figure in a church. Christian organizations criticized the promo, labeling it blasphemous.

Two other Madonna videos, "Ray Of Light" and "Vogue," also feature in the top five at numbers four and five respectively.

Britney Spears is at number two with her "Baby One More Time" video, and Michael Jackson's "Thriller," directed by John Landis, is at number three.

Jay Kay has a new passion for helicopters - and says they remind him of sex. The Jamiroquai frontman - known for his love of fast cars - has splashed out thousands of dollars on hiring a chopper and has started taking flying lessons.
