Run-D.M.C. are set for a reunion at the Roots' annual summer Philadelphia, Pennsylvania festival, if drummer ?uestlove's online hints are to be believed.

Rappers Reverend Run and Darryl McDaniels vowed never to perform again following the murder of DJ Jason 'Jam Master Jay' Mizell in 2002, but rumors of a reunion have been swirling around for months.

50 Cent's episode of "Behind The Music" showed a slightly softer side to the controversial rapper. Unlike the other episodes that have premiered since the music special's re-launch, 50's episode highlighted more of his achievements than his setbacks.

The episode started off by shedding light on 50 Cent's humble beginnings. 50 (real name Curtis Jackson) briefly spoke about the death of his mother when he was 8 years old. By 12, 50 decided to get into the drug life by selling drugs. While his grandparents thought he was at the after school program, he was out selling crack cocaine.

Hip-hop legends Run-DMC have become the first rap artists to have a city street named after them after they were honored in their native Queens, New York on Sunday.

The two surviving band members Joseph 'Rev Run' Simmons and Daniel'DMC' McDaniels joined council officials and fans as they gathered for the unveiling of the newly-renamed Run-DMC JMJ Way at the intersection of 205th Street and Hollis Avenue.

DJ Simmons told the crowd, "I lived right down that block," while McDaniels added, "We are who we are because of you people."

Late Stars Remembered At Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction

Metallica, Run-DMC, Jeff Beck and Bobby Womack entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday at an emotional ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio.

Red Hot Chili Peppers rocker Flea inducted headliners Metallica; who were joined onstage by former guitarist Jason Newsted, and Ray Burton, the father of Cliff Burton, the band's former bassist, who died in a tourbus crash in 1986.

Eminem inducted Run-DMC, who also took the opportunity to mourn former bandmate Jam Master Jay who was murdered in 2002.

The surviving members of rap pioneers Run-D.M.C. will break from tradition when they are inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday - they have refused to perform out of respect to murdered DJ Jam Master Jay.

So in these difficult economic days, the artist who debuted with Get Rich Or Die Tryin' is giving something back to his fans by adding a free DVD of a full-length original movie to his fourth major label album, Before I Self Destruct (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope), releasing early 2009.

Rapper Reverend Run has vowed never to make a musical comeback with hip-hop group Run-DMC after the tragic shooting death of the group's co-founder Jason 'Jam-Master Jay' Mizell. Suspect In Jam Master Jay Murder Jailed

A man suspected of murdering rapper Jam Master Jay has been jailed for 17 years, after he was convicted of a string of robberies. Ronald 'Tinard' Washington's former girlfriend claims he confessed to killing the Run DMC rapper in a New York recording studio in October 2002, but the 40-year-old has never been charged with the murder.

Prosecutors in Brooklyn, New York pushed for a more severe sentence for Washington, citing evidence connecting him to Jay's murder and another killing he was rumored to have committed in 1995.

The surviving members of hip-hop legends Run-DMC are flying to London this weekend to join their old duet pals Aerosmith on stage. The original trio - which included late DJ Jam Master Jay - teamed up with the rock group for their 1986 mega-hit Walk This Way - an original Aerosmith song.

British newspaper Daily Star reports rappers Joseph 'Rev Run' Simmons and Darryl 'D.M.C.' McDaniels will join Aerosmith for a performance of the track at the Hyde Park Calling Festival on Sunday evening.

Jam Master Jay's alleged killer lived in a home owned by the slain DJ in the weeks before he was murdered. Federal authorities in the U.S. believe Ronald 'Tinard' Washington is one of two men responsible for the death of the Run DMC founder, born Jason Mizell, who was gunned down in his New York studio on October 30, 2002.
