A recording of an eerie cell phone chat between Michael Jackson and his personal physician was played to jurors as Dr. Conrad Murray's involuntary manslaughter trial got underway in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Prosecutor David Walgren, Los Angeles' Deputy District Attorney, played the tape during a highly-charged morning in court, during which he also showed showed jurors a photo of Jackson's lifeless body on a gurney.

The King of Pop died of an overdose of anesthetic Propofol and Walgren and his team hope to prove that Murray was the man who administered the fatal injection in June, 2009.

Michael Jackson and Britney Spears have proved the big winners in a new Billboard.com video poll marking the anniversary of MTV.

Music fans were asked to pick their favorite promo of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, and Spears and Jackson doubled up at the top of two of the charts.

Jackson's "Thriller" was the undisputed best video of the '80s, beating Madonna's "Like a Prayer," while his "Scream" duet with sister Janet came in second to Spears' "Baby One More Time" at the top of the 1990s list.
