September 9th, 2012 9:30am EDT
Honda Civic Tour
The 2012 Honda Civic Tour arrived in Carson, CA on Saturday night with co-headliners Linkin Park and Incubus. The two bands and opener MuteMath packed the Home Depot Center on their next-to-last tour stop, and did not disappoint legions of both bands' devoted fans.

Incubus opened their set with "Privilege" from their 1999 breakout album Make Yourself, then segued into "Wish You Were Here," the first single from 2001's Morning View. Other songs included "Megalomaniac" from 2004's A Crow Left of the Murder, "Adolescents" from their most recent album If Not Now, When? (2011), and "Anna Moll...

Linkin Park, Incubus Arrive on West Coast to Conclude 2012 Honda Civic Tour

September 5th, 2012 9:30am EDT
Linkin Park
Linkin Park and Incubus are the co-headliners of this year's Honda Civic Tour, and tonight they start their final segment of concert dates on the West Coast. Linkin Park's Chester Bennington and Incubus front man Brandon Boyd recently gave some insight into the high-demand tour.

"I think the most special thing about this tour is the fact that you have two headlining bands singing together on one bill, which typically can be kind of hard to do," said Bennington. "Usually when you’re in a position to headline a tour of this kind, there’s only room for one headlining band usually. S...

October 14th, 2010 10:02am EDT
Cypress Hill
Rappers Cypress Hill have scored a coup at their upcoming SmokeOut festival in California - the owners of a medical marijuana dispensary will be in business on site.

The group will take the stage alongside MGMT, Incubus and Erykah Badu, among others, at the event in San Bernardino on Saturday, but the live music won't be the major talking point. Peace in Medicine bosses have been given permission to sell pot onsite. Promoter Chang Weisberg tells Spinner.com he's convinced his festival will lead the way to all major musical events becoming marijuana-friendly sites.

He says, "It's not too...

Have You Heard? Always April

April 22nd, 2009 11:02am EDT
Always April
As a self professed cross between Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey, The Pixies, Fugazi and Incubus, Arkansas' Always April certainly have a shroud of mystery around them. Their glam tinged fuzz rock has a special sound to it, something that is almost impossible to pinpoint.

Perhaps it has something to do with the way the band just puzzlingly formed.

"We have all been playing music in different bands most of our lives and all have come from different big cities around the nation to Salem, Arkansas for completely different reasons," the band states. "We met by sheer coincidence within a two w...
